Hi all
On June 12th and 13th 2010 I will be stageing an event at (Holy Trinity school) CONNAUGHT HOUSE, Cross Road,Weymouth, Dorset.

The house (now demolished )and the grounds was the home of the 50th Field Hospital from April untill September1944.

The l50th set up a 380 bed tented hospital in the ground with the HQ established in the house and took all the casualties from Exercise Tiger as well as a number from Overlord

there is over night camping avilible if any medical group or individual would like to come please let me know at

A quick up date on the event

The head of the school has given us the go ahead to errect a memorial to the 50th in the school grounds where to hospital pitched their tents.
