Where did you hear about us? Just stumbled upon it while surfing

Excellent! I had been searching for a long time for some background history of the US Medical Corps & stumbled on your site, quite by chance. As a result &, with the wonderful help of Ben Major, I have been able to build up a fairly comprehensive picture of what life was like for the medical profession involved in caring for the wounded in WW2. It is a part of the history of WW2 which hitherto has been, for the most part, forgotten.

E-mailed with the hopes of finding some info out, for and Army buddy of my Dads (63rd Infantry), and was pleasantly surprised with a quick response! Since then, I have "surfed" this site...What a great thing y'all got here...Your own little nook about a neat subject matter...Something to carry on abd to teach others who think they know what "Bravery" means! The ultimate "Thanks" guys! Keep up the great job! Bill in Atlanta Georgia

My father, Lt. Col. Albert Marion Richmond, commanded the 242nd General Hospital east of Paris in 1945. For several years I've maintained Web pages for the 242 GH, and have had contacts with a number of people who were associated with it. - Thank you for this excellent Web site!
